THE SUMMARY

In the pristine, sun-drenched world of Battle for Dream Island, the rules of the game are absolute. The challenges are monitored, the contestants are rendering correctly, and the hosts keep everything in perfect order.
Until the glitches started.
A detached shadow. An unapproved font. A minor technical error. To the ruthless host Four, even a 0.01% variance is a threat to the network. Denied recovery, denied a voice, and stripped of their names, Flower, Pin, Book, and Golf Ball are thrown over the heavy iron gates into the one place no object ever returns from: The Evil Forest.
But this isn't the cartoon landscape they remember. The forest is a rotting, pocket-dimension wasteland under a sky of permanent television static. The mud is oxidizing into blood, the spatial geometry is looping, and a parasitic crimson malware known as The Blight is actively rewriting the code of anyone trapped inside.
As the infection spreads through their bodies and their memories begin to delete, the four banished contestants must work together to find a way out-before they lose their sanity, their code, and their identities to the hive-mind forever.
