Deathless Proposition

I lived an ordinary life.

Or at least, I believed I did.

I never wished for adventure, power, or a fate beyond the quiet rhythm of everyday existence. I was content remaining unnoticed-just another face in the crowd.

Until that day.

One incident.

One impossible proposal.

And everything I knew about life, death, and reality shattered before my eyes.

What I accepted was never a blessing.

It was never salvation.

It was a proposition.

A contract whispered from the shadows.

A choice that should have never existed.

Now, unseen eyes follow my every step. Forgotten truths claw their way back into the world. The dead refuse to remain dead, and every answer I uncover only drags me deeper into an abyss where nothing is what it seems.

Some doors are never meant to be opened.

Some promises are never meant to be accepted.

And some propositions...

...can never be escaped.
