Now, for one simple moment, just Imagine--imagine the vast, complex, and beloved world of BFDI transformed onto the focus of a corny, awkward, generic high school. This book (although the idea's been done one too many times) gives you exactly just that. Through it, you can follow a young cyborg--Remote--on her journey as a freshman. As would usually be expected, that'd be considered fresh meat, although, in this case, it's not really.. meat. Circuits and oil, more of. As we know, high school is not merely the final stage of fundamental education. For many, many people, it is an impactful phase of your life. Especially since Remote is not exactly the best at fitting in, navigating this new, interesting, although rather confusing part of life (especially with adjusting more to human life and its some of its customs) will prove to be difficult. Remote IS going to have to face one of the largest, and most seemingly intimidating schools out there. Although, on the more positive side of all this, she might just have all the friends to help her through it.
