Set in 1931 London and the shadowed mountains of Transylvania

When ambitious British archivist Edmund Harrow travels to a forgotten monastery in Transylvania to recover a collection of ancient religious manuscripts for the British Museum, he unknowingly uncovers a sealed chamber beneath the ruins - and awakens something the monks died trying to contain.

The chamber belongs to Count Dracula, an aristocratic vampire whose name has long been erased from history. But Dracula is no mindless monster. After decades trapped beneath the monastery by a secret order known as The Brotherhood of Saint Vesper, the Count escapes and follows Edmund back to London aboard a doomed cargo train crossing Europe.

Soon, a strange illness spreads through London's fog-covered streets. Victims are discovered pale and bloodless, while whispers grow of a tall nobleman wandering the city only after sunset. As Edmund realizes he has unleashed an ancient evil upon England, he joins forces with mysterious physician Professor Abraham Van Helsing, skeptical journalist Clara Whitmore, and Scotland Yard inspector Alistair Graves to stop Dracula before he turns London into an eternal kingdom of darkness.

But Dracula's true goal is far more terrifying than simple conquest: hidden beneath London lies an ancient crypt connected to the same dark force that first cursed him centuries ago - and he intends to open it once again.

In a city consumed by fear and fog, the line between science and superstition begins to vanish.
