Everything was alright for Silas and Ren, two incoming freshmen in college who share a significant past from high school. Silas had always seen Ren as everything-except his. Meanwhile, Ren always treated Silas as more than just a friend: he carried his bag, placed the helmet on him and checked the straps afterward, and took him on afternoon lunch dates. Yet, all of these actions stayed strictly under the label of being his friend.
To Silas, it was everything. To Ren, it was nothing.
Now, in a new environment in college, the friendship built on a shared past will face new challenges and unexpected people. A fight will test their bond, a new friend group will question Silas's place in Ren's world, and a new person will make Silas doubt Ren's true intentions.
The only thing that matters to Silas is Ren's happiness. Even though it hurts to admit it, he prioritizes Ren's joy at the expense of his own emotions. But could these changes actually be the reason they ruin something so great, or will it be at the expense of Silas's hidden feelings for Ren?
