After being betrayed by the people he trusted most, a lonely teenager takes a late-night walk through the city, hoping to escape the memories that refuse to leave him. But when his shadow begins to move on its own, he is drawn into a mysterious theater hidden beyond reality.
There, he meets the Puppeteer, an ancient being that controls people through invisible strings woven from fear, guilt, and the desperate need for acceptance.
