The only people standing between him and absolute liquidation are a chaotic Tokyo vanguard: a foul-mouthed, headphone-wearing heartbeat calculator; a whiny, defensive drama queen with metallic swords growing out of her spine; a polite shrine maiden who runs an illicit narcotics cartel while discussing true crime like the weather; and a lazy, half-blind sensei who gets ridiculously drunk on Coca-Cola.

As the borders of his reality begin to fracture, Eddie must master the unstable molecular phases of the battlefield. Can he control the mist that threatens to overwhelm him, or will he melt and be lost in the empty sky forever?
