MIND FILE RECOVERY: A Post-finale Story

Even after the curtains close, life goes on inside the Digital Circus. Jax, though abstracted, is still present with them, spending most of his days either curled up in his blanket fort or swimming around contentedly with the other abstractions in the aquarium. Of course, precautions are taken when leading him from place to place, but he seems to have become familiar with the routine.

...Until one day that routine breaks when Jax leaves the darkness of the fort on his own, steps into the light, and remains calm.

That wasn't the first change they noticed in him, but it was certainly the biggest. And when Pomni realizes what's happening to him, the impossible suddenly appears within reach. With time, patience and some research on Caine and Kinger's part, they just might be able to bring Jax back...But does he want to come back? And if they succeed, what does that mean for the others in the aquarium?
