The Typewriter Killer

The Typewriter Killer

Most murders begin with a body.

This one begins with a story.

When a respected local historian is found dead in what appears to be a routine burglary, Detective Ava Mercer is assigned to a case everyone else believes is already solved. The evidence is convincing. The motive is simple. The city quickly moves on.

Ava doesn't.

As she and her partner, Liam Brooks, begin pulling at loose threads, ordinary details refuse to stay ordinary. Forgotten files. Unfinished manuscripts. Lives reduced to headlines. Every answer seems to raise a more unsettling question:

What if the first story is never the true one?

Somewhere in the quiet corners of the police archives, where forgotten cases gather dust, someone has spent years preserving the stories everyone else leaves behind.

But some stories were never meant to stay buried.

The Typewriter Killer is a literary psychological crime thriller about memory, identity, unseen wounds, and the stories that quietly shape who we become.

Because sometimes the most dangerous story...

...is the one everyone believes.
