No one knows exactly what happened to Chase after Adventure Bay. Whatever the truth was, it ended with a prison sentence.
When the SCP Foundation expanded its D-Class program to include intelligent canines, Chase was selected for transfer. Stripped of his former identity and redesignated **D-9341**, he became another expendable test subject, sent into containment chambers and exposed to anomalies that researchers considered too dangerous for personnel.
Most D-Class don't survive long.
Chase did.
Against all odds, he repeatedly completed impossible assignments, rescued researchers during containment breaches, and displayed an unusual ability to remain calm around anomalous entities. His survival rate quickly drew the attention of Foundation command.
Over time, he was no longer treated as disposable.
His D-Class status was revoked, and Chase was reassigned as a Foundation field operative, accompanying Mobile Task Forces on containment and recovery missions. Though still haunted by his past and carrying the scars of countless experiments, he now fights for the same organization that once saw him as nothing more than another test subject.
