My Own Type of Hero

It's been six years since it all went wrong. Since Izuku Midoriya went missing. Since Inko Midoriya was killed. Since Katsuki Bakugou saw his world shatter. Sure, things would never be as they were when he and Izuku were kids, but things were still going fine. Sure, he may have let his power get to his head when he first got his Quirk, but he had promised he would change. He hurt Izuku when they were 6. The blood. The burning. The tears. He didn't mean for it to happen, and he made sure it never would again.

Things changed for Katsuki that day. His temper cooled significantly. He still yelled. He still swore. Still insulted some people, but he was never as harsh as he was before. And he made well sure Izuku Midoriya was always safe. He saw what could happen to him, and he made sure it would never happen without him being able to defend himself. And that's how things went for the next few years. He and Izuku remained inseparable. They were best friends. Then, one day it all ended and he didn't have the chance to stop it.
