Forgotten by the very world he sacrificed everything to save, Natsuki Subaru is branded the Sin Archbishop of Pride, after his name is devoured by Gluttony in the aftermath of the Priestella incident. He is imprisoned, betrayed and torture by those he once trusted. With nothing left to live for, Subaru escapes captivity and throws himself from the Great Waterfall, believing death to be his only salvation.

Instead of oblivion, Subaru awakens in his true home Earth the world where he was originally born. But this is not the ordinary Earth he remembers. Here, humans live alongside angels, devils, fallen angels, dragons, and gods, their existence no longer hidden from the world. On the brink of death, Subaru is rescued by the Archangel Gabriel, who grants him a second chance by reincarnating him as one of Heaven's Ace Angels. Free from the hatred and suspicion of his previous life, Subaru begins anew, determined to protect the peace he has finally found.

Years later, that peace is shattered when an unprecedented catastrophe occurs. The entire world governed by Od Lagna is suddenly transported into Earth's dimension. The Kingdom of Lugunica, the Vollachian Empire, Kararagi, Gusteko, and even the Witch Cult are thrust into a world where modern civilization coexists with ancient mythologies and supernatural factions. As governments and world leaders struggle to respond, the Biblical Three Factions, the Norse, Greek, Hindu, and other pantheons move to investigate the mysterious arrival of an entirely different world.

With two worlds colliding and war threatening to erupt on a global scale, Subaru is forced to confront the past he thought he had left behind and the people who once condemned him.
