Amira's Diary

Amira has always felt out of place in the only world she has ever known. Being different leaves her friendless, surrounded by cruelty and burdened with questions no one seems willing to answer. When the loneliness becomes too much to bear, she follows in her mother's footsteps and turns to God for comfort.

Through the pages of her diary, Amira writes to Him as though each entry were a private letter. She tells Him of her nightmares and heartaches, the love she has found and lost, the bitterness she is ashamed to carry, the accusations she has never dared to speak aloud, and the hopes she keeps hidden in the quietest corners of her heart.

From the wounds of her childhood to the questions that remain unanswered well into adulthood, Amira entrusts each page with everything the world has refused to hear. Because when no one else can understand you, perhaps all you can do is write to God... and hope that, somewhere between the silence and the ink, He answers.
