The Order of Fate's Claws is a secret society in the kingdom of Wildwick, and most don't know their headquarters is in the middle of the city of Farshade.

When Kaielyn Ascah joins the Order, she's unsure if she's safe or not. Especially because she's the most powerful type of Arcanist in the world, known as a Hexheart, she possesses all the magic of every Class and Subclass of Arcanist. Yet Kaielyn doesn't know how to control all of the magic in her veins.

She also doesn't know that the attack on her home did not kill off her sisters, they're all alive. And one of them is not as she was before.

Eri Ascah is not herself anymore, her magic has corrupted her. Made her more violent, more volatile. And she's out for blood.

In the Order, Kaie will find that, even there, not everyone is as they same. Especially the rude man in the Council, called Auren Milto. He's got his own agenda. And soon enough, it will come to light that he isn't on the same side as everyone else.
