Year 1850

Thakur Veer Pratap, the leader of the village Banupur, the ruler of the village known for his leadership for the villagers. He was their king since his father, Bade Thakur, passed away. He took all the responsibility on his shoulder. He was known for his justice and power, but every villager was scared of him. No one dared to look at his face. It's said to save his baby sister, he jumped into the wildfire to save her, but the fire was so strong, it swallowed his sister and his side face got burned in the fire, living the memories of that horrible day. Not wanting to scare the villagers, Thakur Veer Pratap kept his face hidden behind his black scarf.

Thakur Veer Pratap is now 31 years old. Badi Thakurani, his mother, is trying to find a bride for her son,But every prospective bride, even before meeting him, said no.....simply because they had heard terrifying rumors about his disfigured face from other neighboring villages. .

Unknown to his mother, Thakur Veer Pratap's eyes are stuck on a girl who is a daughter of a poor farmer.

Thakur Veer Pratap desperately wanted to approach her, but every time, he took a step back, held captive by the deep insecurity of his half burned face.

Geetanjali

Only daughter of Raghunath and Laxmi, they live on the outskirts of the village. To live, they earn from their small field. She is a very hardworking woman, taking care of her old parents and looking after the fields. She works day and night in her rice and vegetables field to make a living, selling them in the market with her father. She hides her face behind her veil like every other woman of the village.

Her parents are looking for a groom for her, but it gets rejected every time because of her dark brown skin tone, and Geetanjali doesn't care about this. She only wants to take care of her old parents.

But what will Geetanjali do when she meets Thakur Veer Pratap, who wants to only marry her?
