I thought writing the last letter would be enough. I thought closure would feel like a closed door instead of one I'd keep looking back at. But no one tells you that healing isn't a straight line. Some days you wake up grateful they happened. Other days, you grieve someone who's still alive. Sometimes the hardest part isn't letting go of a person, it's letting go of the version of yourself that loved them. This isn't another love story. It's the story of everything that came after. The nights that felt too quiet. The memories that showed up uninvited. The people who stayed. The ones who didn't. The moments that slowly taught me that endings don't always leave you empty, sometimes they leave room for the life you were meant to find. Because the last letter was never the end. It was just the first page of the rest of my story.
