The Hockey Heartbreaker

Brynleigh Morgan is a new student at Briar U after having to leave her hometown following the death of both of her parents, forcing her to move in with her older brother Easton, who is on the hockey team at Briar. Her and her brother had always been close and always connected over a love of hockey when they were younger and she wants to strengthen that connection at Briar by watching her brother play. The day she arrives at Briar there is a hockey game and at that game one player catches her eye, the number is 66, the name on the jersey is Di Laurentis. After the game her brother throws a party at his house, and Dean sticks close to her the whole time. She quickly finds out that he has a reputation of being a heartbreaker, but feels like she would be honored to have her heartbroken by him.

Dean Di Laurentis is Briar's bad boy heartbreaker, never having been in a relationship and always says that he would rather be there for a good time, not a long time. At the first game of the season he sees a girl he's never seen before and is immediately interested in her. He finds out after the game that she is his teammate Easton's little sister Bryn. At the annual first game afterparty that Easton throws, he sees Bryn looking awkward in the corner, so to get her out of her shell, he hangs out with her the whole time, becoming absolutely fascinated by her. From that day forward he has one goal; get to know her and get close to her, but he doesn't understand why he feels this way about her.
