Summary:

18-year-old Imogen is an up-and-coming DJ from LA who meets an alluring indie pop singer in a band called Halo. His name is Tristan and they meet at a bar in New York over the summer. What could possibly go wrong? How about everything!!! She finds out he's 29 which isn't really a deal breaker, but after losing her virginity to him she finds out he's somewhat still engaged to someone else. To rub salt in the wound when she returns home for her senior year in high school, she finds out he's her music teacher. Could things get any worse for Imogen? Well yeah, it can and does.

Tristan is a 29-year-old indie pop singer in a band called Halo for the summer in New York. He's not over his complicated relationship with his fiancée, V and finds it hard to score with any of the girls he meets while there in New York. Then enters Imogen, an up-and-coming DJ who saves the band when their equipment goes wonky at a bar. He thanks her with a drink after their set ends and from there sparks seem to fly. He eventually sleeps with her but gets a text from his fiancée while in the shower that morning and Imogen sees the message and abruptly leaves. He calls Imogen and she asks him who was the girl that texted him and he says the truth which is his somewhat fiancée. She hangs up and he thinks this will be the end of them and goes to LA to be a high school music teacher where he also rekindles things with his fiancée. What could possibly go wrong? Imogen turns out to be his high school student, but that's not even the worse part that occurs between them.
