This short three part story is about the rivalry between two mutants Sai and Thorn. Sai a mutant ninja who was ripped from her home during the time stream entanglement and Thorn an EX-X-Men who found himself in a different timeline after his was destroyed but was torn away from his new timeline with no way back.
The two had fairly similar upbringings but how they handled the conflicts ahead was very different and the two had very mindsets and values which sometimes led them into combat with each other.
But despite that there were never any hard feelings between the two and they would ultimately come to respect one another but one thing they both enjoyed was finding out who was stronger.
