Crime reporter William Jakrapatr returns to Chiang Mai expecting to cover Thailand's biggest water festival. Instead, he walks into a city drowning in fear.

Whispers spread across Chiang Mai.

The Phi Nam has returned.

As William investigates, he is forced to work alongside the city's most respected detective, Lieutenant Est Supha, a man who trusts evidence over superstition.

But every clue drags them deeper into a nightmare where folklore and reality blur.
