Carlie has officially made a decision to leave her hometown since childhood, and head for university. Packing up all of her things, and preparing for this new start. That could help her heal and forget everything to do with her past, or... possibly unravel it. Coming from a wealthy family, she knew the best thing to do was hide that from everyone she knew. To risk hurting her parents title and business, yet mostly her past from creeping back to her.

When she arrives at college, a welcome party by one of her friends is thrown to celebrate this new chapter. Music and party lights crowded the room, yet not enough to drown out the stress she was about to endure. She's shaken by an unexpected call that her mom had been rushed to the hospital due to her illness that had suddenly gotten worse. Sending her in a wave of immediate stress. The person who guides her out of that party? A sworn enemy she promised to forget, and never remember again.
