Semester Two (Nerdmin X Reader)

There was nothing simple about starting college. Especially not when you showed up an entire week late-with fewer belongings than you had when you boarded the plane. Somehow, your first week at Paradis University flew by faster than you expected. You caught up in all your classes, managed to make a few friends, and climbed to the top of most of your courses in record time. Things were... surprisingly okay. Still, it felt like something was missing.

College parties.

So, the second your roommate practically begged you to come with her, you gave in. Loud music, packed rooms, the smell of smoke, cheap alcohol, way too much cologne, and sweat hanging in the air-it was exactly how you'd imagined it. Terrible. Couldn't get much worse.

Or so you thought.

Because the moment your eyes met his from across the room, everything else disappeared. Armin fucking Arlert. Your ex.
He looked almost exactly the same, and somehow that was the worst part. Out of everyone in the world... why him?
