Aila is a seventeen-year-old who gets dropped in the middle of a whirlwind of a life to figure out by herself, only for that whirlwind to become a tornado when she finds out who her biological family is.

She has been in foster care for as long as she can remember. The only two constants in her life have been trying to survive chaos and her best friend, Eoghain and his family.

When her foster father leaves Aila to pay the consequences for another debt and she runs, she bumps into some people who will change her life.

She has always wanted a safe place that she can really call home and to have people in her life that do the same.

So, what happens when she might just push those people away?
