A Broken Dream

Two friends live together in a run-down, trashy house, with a miserable life and a minimum-wage dishwashing job. Everything was more or less decent; the job was enough to keep the both of them afloat, and things seemed to be running seamlessly. Until the damage of yet another broken plate ended their stay at Peter's restaurant. That's what too many slip-ups cost you. With nothing else to turn to, they silently awaited a ray of hope, something that would break the ongoing loop of this dreadful life. "DREAM PILLS! Want to escape this reality and vanish into your own reality?" That was it: Dream pills. They purchase the pills in desperation to finally find tranquillity away from this harsh reality and be happy again. But unbeknownst to them, their plan of seeking happiness in this "perfect" dream may turn into a reality they'd never wish to see...
