Blood. Lots of it. An endless stream of crimson skyrocketed from the man's bruised, hollow neck as he finally fell down. He didn't die at first, no. His head wasn't to be seen anymore but his torso twitched and his body exhibited jerky, uncoordinated movements. His body was becoming a pale colour, with hints of purple under the yellow skin.
Nobody screamed. Nobody cried. Nobody was even fucking there in the first place. They found his body an hour later on the streets. Maybe nobody cared of him at all; everybody knew everybody in this town, but him? Nobody even noticed he was gone until the blood.
How it happened was an unsolved mystery but people seemed to be so sure of the idea of him being slaughtered.
No family or friends of his came, so nobody confirmed who he was. He became a John Doe.
