Estelle isn't the one who copes by running. She already broke that normality by vanishing for two years after Best Friend Maise and Fiancé Tess died. She pulled away from her other Best Friend, Mike, and everything she knew. After two years of little contact, then one day Estelle contacts Mike and there for her Past.

Estelle starts living by herself after a year of being back in the city, and soon realizes her new friends she met belong to the city's most dangerous MC; her initial reaction wouldn't just be fear of the law, but what the criminal underground is hiding in the shadows.

How Estelle reacts to old faces depends heavily on who steps out of the shadows, but in every case, two years of surviving on her own will mean she isn't the fragile girl who left. Better than she thought, it could shatter her understanding of her past. What if Tess's or Maise's death wasn't just a tragic coincidence, but was connected to the very underworld Estelle just stumbled into? Seeing an old face in an MC context would force her to realize her past and present were never separate to begin with.

What happens when Estelle gets pulled into that very same motorcycle club; the primary conflict isn't just the physical danger-it's her terrifying realization that she might love people she could lose all over again.
