Stranger Things: Beneath Hawkins

In the quiet town of Hawkins, Indiana, twelve-year-old Y/N Monroe Lewis has spent her entire life surrounded by love. Raised in a lively three-generation Black household by her teenage mother, devoted grandparents, and outspoken great-aunt, she's grown into a fearless, curious girl whose closest friends are Mike Wheeler, Lucas Sinclair, Dustin Henderson, and Will Byers. To them, she's never been "the girl" in the group. She's simply one of the Party.

When Will vanishes without a trace on a cold November night in 1983, Y/N refuses to believe he's gone. As she joins her friends in searching for him, the children stumble into a terrifying secret hidden beneath Hawkins, one involving government experiments, a mysterious girl with incredible powers, and a nightmarish dimension crawling with monstrous creatures.

While the original events of Stranger Things unfold, Y/N and the Lewis family become deeply entangled in Hawkins' darkest mysteries. As disappearances multiply, bodies are discovered, and unimaginable horrors creep into their small town, lifelong friendships are tested by fear, grief, and an increasingly dangerous devotion. What begins as innocent childhood affection slowly twists into possessiveness as those closest to Y/N become determined to keep her safe, no matter the cost.

Amid supernatural terror, government conspiracies, and relentless bloodshed, the Lewis family stands as an unbreakable pillar of love and resilience. Their home remains a refuge filled with laughter, music, family dinners, and Black traditions, even as the world outside threatens to consume everything they hold dear. But in Hawkins, every secret has a price, and some monsters wear human faces while others crawl from the darkness below.
