Hyoudou Issei is still the same boy who dreams big, throws himself into danger for others, and has an unhealthy obsession with chocolate.
But somewhere along the way, life taught him to laugh a little less.
Following the events that changed his life forever, Issei chooses to face the world with a calmer mind and unwavering resolve. Though still kind-hearted, compassionate, and occasionally awkward, he no longer rushes headfirst into every situation without thinking. Every battle, every victory, and every loss slowly shape him into the Red Dragon Emperor he was always destined to become despite being branded as the weakest Red Dragon Emperor host in history.
This story follows the canon timeline of High School DxD with one fundamental change: Issei's personality.
As the story unfolds, forgotten choices, dormant powers, and the lingering consequences of a single blue jewel taken from Divine Dividing will gradually steer fate down a path no one-not even the Heavenly Dragons themselves-could have foreseen.
Sometimes... all it takes to change history is one different choice.

Reset: Going back to the past with changes
Inspired by my evil dragon storyline from Tales of the dark Universe as well as Issei Dxd, the story takes place after the evil dragon war, Issei finally wakes up from coma and realizes that none of the girls decided to take their time to visit him or Asia who was in comatose, the only people that visited him were his parents and his sensei Azazel. Title inspired by Mitmite2 Most of the Jaune Arc fanfictions I read just aren't good enough. They either make him impossibly op or he's unjustly betrayed. And too many of them give him a harem. She was not going to win, and even with Asia Argento and Issei Hyoudou joining in, the latter being a Red Dragon Emperor. And it came true. Riser Phenex, the third oldest child of the Phenex Family wanted Rias for herself. He wanted to use her for his own lust and wanted to keep her for himself. He overpowered her and defeated her entire peerage all the while torturing Issei who continued to stand in his way, he enjoyed the humiliation he was giving Issei. She did not wish for this to happen, she hated Riser more than anything else and anyone else. She did not want to be married to him and ruin her life. She had to do something about this. However, fate had other plans for her, and she was not going to marry Riser. This story was inspired by @THUNDERsnek's version of this ship which is Red Dragon Family.Complete

Demon Lord: DXD
In the distant timeline, where things have gone exceedingly wrong. The Supernatural bored and fearful of humanity's population and potential triggered the infamous event known as Global Freeze. An event that started to vastly lower the temperature of the world, making it uninhabitable for any human to inhibit. Humans slowly started to perish from the event, eventually their population was barely thriving, with barely a few 1000 left on the planet. Issei Hyoudou was one of the survivors, unaware and clueless of what the Supernatural is trying to do. Decided to help the survivors and unite them against this cold, alongside his friends. However, one of them decided to betray them exposing the whole operation. Soon scores of Supernatural Forces, raided the whole base killing everyone, including his loyal friends and lovers, and eventually cornered him with the intention of killing him. However, as he dies and watches them say Humanity will be weaker than always. Issei vows to protect them as he gets a new chance. He soon encountered Anos Voldigard, who decided to join forces with the young man and ask him to end this cycle of death and destruction to protect the planet against any future invaders. He agrees and is reborn as a Demon whose goal is to lead the Planet and ensure that history doesn't repeat itself again.
