Wonder what'll happen if the answer to this question suddenly changes the course of someone's future.

Our Conscious Fields; What is living?
Slow paced narrative set in a world awakened to panpsychism and innate abilities following the fall and rise of society. A gentle approach to world building with a bit of humor, romanticism, and just enough hints of drama without going into it. When everyone writes about how it could all go wrong or what happens after it does; who wants to read about what happens if it just goes right for once? Still conflict and drama but, the hard work is already done. Now you just get to see a glimpse of what happens in a reality where it all works out. In this story, a psychologist and his friends are transported across time and space to find out exactly what that question might be for him and what the answer must involve. * Just one note. Beyond the Boundaries of Friendship
Chloe and Damion (Chloe's best friend) were polar opposites. Chloe's pov: You and your best friend were polar opposites, You liked bright colours and he wanted black. You were emotional and he was rational. You also worked together at a publishing house, you were in the arts department and he was in the finance department. All of that being said you've been harboring one big secret: you have been in love with him, you have been ever since you first laid eyes on him as a kid. He was often annoyed by you, pushing you away whenever but at least he let you stick around...that counted for something right??? You turned off your tablet and gathered your items to head home. You had just entered the staircase when you heard the voice of one of your coworkers. "She's literally always there," a familiar voice hissed. Him, it was him. "With her highlighter colors and bright hair ties. I can't even hook up with girls because she is always there." You stood frozen as he continued. "She thinks I don't know she's in love with me. A Different Kind of Love
Max was very different -- but in a unique way. That much Justin could figure out. He just couldn't figure out what was different about her. There was something about her that drew him closer and he just had to figure that out. But what happened when he found out? Did he discover he was way in over his head? I sat in the library. There was not a single person in sight. There was just complete, suffocating silence. Then the silence shattered when I heard loud footsteps. Each step got louder and louder. I looked up and saw . . . Max. He stood right before of me. His hair held in a slick quiff and his beautiful lips curved in a grin. My heart started to beat rapidly. I watched him hopelessly as he bent down, towards me, near me. His face inches away from me. I could feel his cold breath on my face. "You still love me, don't you?" He asked in his deep voice. The answer was yes, I did love him. . . but I can't tell him that. I don't want him to repeat all the things he did to me. I don't want him to make me cry for hours. But will he love me for real this time if I forgive him? If I don't forgive him, will I ever forget him? Will I ever be able to give love a second chance?
