The houses of Slytherin and Hufflepuff were never known for getting along.

To Draco Malfoy and his circle, Hufflepuffs were nothing more than an annoyance-far too soft, far too cheerful, and utterly unworthy of his time. He swore to himself he would never fall for anyone, least of all a badger.
