DewClan has protected Lilykit since birth, but a tragic accident shatters her future, leaving both her flawless white coat and her soul permanently scarred. Once the pride of her parents, Lilykit is suddenly cast aside. Turned away by a mother obsessed with beauty and a father ashamed to have ever called her his kit, she drowns in a suffocating whirlpool of self-consciousness and isolation.

As the cruel snarks of her sister, Lavenderpaw, push her over the edge, the hot rage inside Lilypaw cools into something far more dangerous.
