Everbody knows Imari as the girl who has it together.

The oldest daughter and only daughter . The responsible one. Someone who always listens, always helps, and never seems to need anyone. But behind her quiet smile is a girl who has spent years keeping her feelings to herself, afraid that if she says too much, she'll become a burden .

Starting freshman year in a new school, Imari isn't looking for love. She's just trying to find her place, make new friends, and figure out who she is outside of everyone's expectations.

Jahmir is the kind of person who makes people feel comfortable without even trying. He's very patient, funny, and notices the little things other ppl overlook. What starts as a simple conversation between two strangers slowly becomes something much more deeper.
