It's been 2 months since Stoick the Vast left Midgard and went to Valhalla, leaving his son, Hiccup Haddock, to take his place as Chief of Berk.
Hiccup is now in charge of running the entire village at only 20 years old, and, although he hides it well, is struggling with the death of his father, and the sudden responsibility thrust upon him as Chief.
But when he meets a strange girl with a mysterious past, things get much more complicated than Hiccup would like.
A new girl. A new enemy. A new type of evil.
How will Hiccup face this enemy? How will he keep the village his father gave him to protect safe? And how does he find hope in a time of darkness and peril?
