Maddie and Jamie have always just been together. People sort of just assumed it at this point. But just like any good love story obviously the two havent realized it yet. And Maddie doesnt realize it until she is hurt and has nobody left. This story is a spin off of one tree hill but more of a teen fiction. you do NOT need to have had seen One Tree Hill to love this book and understand it.
