Orc Trapped | Aiko, Mirai & ZehKath

To appease her mother, Mirai reluctantly agrees to spend her summer volunteering at an archaeological excavation deep within the John Crow Mountains of Manchester, Jamaica. The work is filthy, the terrain unforgiving, and the heat feels like the entrance to Satan's own backyard-not exactly the ideal setting for an aspiring beauty guru.

The only thing making the trip remotely bearable is Aiko, a striking goth archaeology student from the University of the West Indies. Quiet, serious, and happiest surrounded by ancient ruins rather than people, Aiko wants nothing to do with anyone on the dig. Yet, somehow, Mirai can't stop finding reasons to be around her.

As the excavation uncovers a long-forgotten burial site, strange discoveries begin to pile up. Ancient warnings, impossible artifacts, and whispers that seem to drift through the mountains at night all point to one terrifying truth:

And whatever has been sleeping beneath the John Crow Mountains is finally beginning to wake.
