Itinerant

Sonic had been gone for nearly three days now, and didn't visit home even once. Tails was starting to get worried about his brother. He dialed Amy, Knuckles, Vector, even Shadow and Rouge. But no one had seen him in days, some weeks. Vector suggested they create a search party for Sonic. But Tails knew that might easily backfire if Eggman caught wind that Sonic was missing. They needed to keep this situation quiet.

Tails took the Tornado out of storage and went flying over green hills in search of Sonic's signature blue fur. So far he wasn't having luck. He even circled Sonic's favorite spots multiple times in case he missed him. But ultimately, he had to call off the search for the time being, until he refueled. When he got back home, he phoned Amy and Knuckles to update them on his progress.

Amy and Knuckles were also conducting their own searches for Sonic in the city, and on Angel Island respectively. But they also found no signs of their blue friend. Not even a quill blown out of his head to guide them in a direction. It was as if Sonic...disappeared, plucked off the ground in an instant.
