Quite Unpredictable

Mallory Anders always played safe. She was smart, top of the class smart. Top of the state smart, almost top of the country smart. But what no one knows, is that Mallory can paint. And draw, and use oil pastels, and just about every other art media. She was talented. Seriously. But she hid that. The only one who knew was her 8th grade art teacher, who she'd kept in touch with all through high school. But Mallory didn't let anyone else see that. She purposefully didn't enter any art classes. Because she lived to keep that family of hers happy. But she always stopped by Miss Joens room after her other activities. She couldn't stay away from her art completely. So, when a couple weeks after graduation, she gets her expected acceptance letter from Harvard, her parents are ecstatic. But then she receives a letter from Miss Joens, telling her to drop by the old art room. And what Mallory finds might just change the course of her entire life.
