Inspired by Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul series, the story revolves around an alternate universe; Where ghouls were beings once blessed by divine beings, living in a separate dimension closely related to heaven. However, they were ultimately cursed with a severe appetite for human flesh for a sin committed by one of their kin. The story follows the history of ghouls, how they came to life, how they arrived at earth, and the following struggles of surviving ghouls living in earth, and a certain Family: The Shikishima Royalty.
But that's not the whole of it, as this universe seemingly have supernatural connections and phenomenas, ultimately mixing Tokyo Ghoul's Dark Sci-fi atmosphere with Fantasy-like elements. Paired with Politics, advocation, survival, and the eventual Revolution to change the world, led by the One-Eyed King, and a Prophesied child from the Shikishima Royalty that will bring about unity and protection against an All-Powerful Being that conquers worlds and universes with cruelty and Savagery.
