Caroline Hayden has always been the golden girl.
Raised by her father, Christopher and her wealthy grandparents, Caroline grew up in a world of private schools, country clubs, family expectations, and every opportunity money could buy. By the time she starts at Chilton a year early, she has become the perfect daughter, especially for the Gilmores.
Unlike Rory, Caroline has never been raised in Stars Hollow. She barely knows her mother, Lorelai, and her relationship with her older sister is little more than an awkward hello at her grandparents' Christmas party.
