The Fragile Light

A small town where mornings begin with children running to school, workers rushing to catch buses, and the sun spilling too brightly across narrow streets.

In the middle of it all lived Hana, an orphan who had learned to survive on part time jobs, saving coins for dreams she barely believed in. Her life was quiet, routine, and lonely. Her dream was simple: to have a home of her own, and maybe a place she could call her work. something she could call hers. Her days were heavy, her nights silent. Until she appeared. Playful, warm, and full of light, she became the first person Hana could call a friend.

"Wanna be friends? I know last time I got rejected, but we can try again, right?" Hana hesitated, then whispered, "Alright... friends." From cafés to riverside walks, from laughter to silence, their bond grew, fragile, hesitant, but real. Hana learned what it meant to smile, to be herself, to feel the warmth of companionship. But not all stories last forever. Though she no longer remains here, her words echo still: "Being childish is fun. At least you can be yourself."
