Staying with her maamu, Colonel Vijay Sapru and maami, Aarti inside the secure gates of Badami Bagh Cantonment, historical researcher Vaidehi Sapru has a mission that hits close to home. As a Kashmiri Pandit, she is writing her thesis on the oral histories and lost heritage of her displaced community. She already carries the deep scars of the valley in her heart, and she deeply respects the men and women in uniform who keep it safe. But she refuses to stay locked away inside the house when she has work to do, places to explore and people to know.

Major Kabir Vaid is a 9, Para SF soldier stationed in Srinagar. Coming from a family that has proudly served in the Indian Armed Forces for generations, duty is in his blood. Focused and devoted to his uniform, he crosses paths with Vaidehi as she comes to live with his Commanding Officer who is her uncle.

What begins as a clash between two stubborn minds quickly turns into an irresistible pull. Kabir is used to controlling everything around him but Vaidehi, with her fierce spirit and absolute refusal to be sidelined turns his orderly world upside down.
