I have been holding on to this secret for years. 
It started at a young age and I never told anyone. I am depressed, angry, and just plain messed up. Still, nobody knows. I have always been that one weird kid in the class, the one that has the teacher as her best friend, the one that is called names, and lastly the one that keeps a secret. But not for much longer.

My life has always been dull, lifeless.....dead. For the many years, my parents stayed out late for work and work up early for work. It was only, only work. One day, in one of my classes, a girl with auburn hair comes up to me, her intentions seemingly innocent. I've always detested the fact she was always on my back and the fact that she got under my skin so easily. Could it be because I've been yearning for a friend's presence? It is ok not to be ok. this is my perspective of depression and my thoughts that emerged from this tough time. I was diagnosed with clinical depression and went through some suicidal ideation. one of the roots of depression is loneliness. I decided that writing to be my companion and poured out my ideas, thoughts and experience through writing down. I had no intention to share it, but as time passes It turned out I have my own original experience in depression. I believe that anyone suffering from depression might correlate with this. hopefully -ironically- it will be of use to anybody and to see that you are not alone in this.
