When Kokushibo, Akaza, Daki, Gyutaro, and Douma wake up as normal humans in modern-day Los Angeles, they have no memory of how they got there-only the haunting echoes of their past lives as Upper Moons. Lost, confused, and utterly unprepared for the 21st century, they stumble into the life of Moon, a wealthy teenage girl who's been abandoned by her parents and left to fend for herself in a cold, empty mansion.

After accidentally burning down one of her family's cafes, Moon bails them out of jail-only for them to follow her home. Now she's stuck with five traumatized, socially awkward former demons.

What follows is a story of healing, redemption, and found family. From Kokushibo becoming a dad who monitors her bedtime, grades, and credit card, to Akaza finding love again with a girl from his past, to Douma reluctantly attending therapy, to Daki and Gyutaro finally finding a home-this is the story of broken people healing each other.

And also Moon's parents reveal their true intentions-selling her to business partners for profit.
