Fain has always had a small group group of friends he can trust. So small he could could count them all on one hand and two on a good day. He and his friends are currently plotting a war against his power crazed uncle, who would definitely love nothing more than to see his head mounted over his fireplace. Fain and his friends are running out of time for this upcoming war and are missing an important part to this careful trap they're setting. Fain thinks this last piece can be accomplished through his childhood friend. The only problem is, with friends who share his same trust issues, can they come to believe this so-called childhood friend who has never been mentioned and sounds too good to be true.

Eve is a red haired vixen who gets what she wants when she wants it. As the older twin, by two minutes, she definitely makes sure its never forgotten. She's stronger, smarter, and faster than a lot of dangerous races put together and knows it. With a fierce loyalty to her only living family, she has a big bone to pick with Fain's uncle. She will do anything at any cost to see his blood run from her sword. But will this be the same case when she finds out exactly what these costs are?
