When Death Finds You

Some people are born lucky. Some are born gifted. Izuku Midoriya was born cursed.
Since childhood, he has seen the dead wandering among the living. Some seek peace. Some seek revenge. Others simply wait for someone who can still see them.
Living by rules no one else knows, Izuku has survived twenty-one years pretending ghosts don't exist.
Then a string of impossible deaths catches the attention of Detective Katsuki Bakugo, the city's most celebrated investigator. Brilliant, ruthless, and skeptical, he believes every mystery has a rational explanation.
Until the victims begin dying exactly as the ghosts predicted.
As the line between the living and the dead begins to fade, one cursed soul and one stubborn detective are forced into a partnership neither of them wants... while something ancient watches from the shadows, waiting for Izuku to finally look back.
