After being charged with yet another count of moon-influenced manslaughter, Tabitha Rouge is sentenced to Full Moon Rehab in order to get her shifting under control. Having rehab on her record would ruin her chances of getting into her dream pack, so rather than going quietly, she runs away to the one place supernatural creatures fear to tread—California.

No one knows why therianthropes are banned from the golden state, and people can only speculate what dangers lie within its borders. Hunters? Were-targeting disease? Tabitha has her own theory—that California is home to a secretive werewolf pack so powerful and ruthless that the Theriantrope Council doesn't want other Weres to learn of them. She's going to track this pack down, earn their respect with her fighting ability, and train with them to become one of the most badass werewolves on the planet.

At least, that was the plan. Things change when she meets the real California wolves.

My Mother Runs With Wolves

51 parts Complete

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
