One year ago, Carmen escaped the mansion that stole six months of her life.

Now nineteen, she's trying to move forward. Therapy has helped. She's rebuilding her future. She has a job, a place to call home, and a notebook filled with the names of the people she'll never forget.

Everyone believes she's finally free. But some habits never disappear. She still checks every lock before bed. She still avoids the woods. And sometimes... she swears someone is watching.

When a string of strange disappearances begins to spread across nearby towns, Carmen realizes the nightmare she escaped may not be over. The shadows she left behind are stirring once again, and the past refuses to stay buried.

Then, just when she begins to doubt her own mind, she catches a familiar figure standing at the edge of a crowd.
