Sam has been handed the key to freedom, hidden in a crappy ancient red VW Beetle. Having been recruited to spend the week at Matt the-local-heart-throb Williams coastside penthouse, Sam must endure the gruelling road trip there with her eternally distainful best friend Sam (the other Sam -Samuel Jenkins), the unbearably mocking Rick Djiva, Jemima the straight A+ goody-two-shoes student and Matt himself.
But as the fossil car starts to flip out more than usual, how are they to get there, and more importantly, how are they supposed to survive in eachother's company when they know nothing about eachother, and the road looms on ahead?
