Know Your Enemy (The Network/Green Day Universe AU)

Everyone knows that St. Jimmy was killed off in Homecoming, but what if he was somehow resurrected, because he WASN'T actually St. Jimmy, and was an alter ego of Wilhelm Fink instead?

After failing a mission by The Church of Lushotology to take over Jesus Of Suburbia's brain, turn him into St. Jimmy, and make him popularize the church, Wilhelm Fink (who was just disguised as Jimmy), the mischievous Opossum Devil frontman of the church's band, The Network, is hired by Svengali & the angry church leaders AGAIN, but this time to impersonate Billie Joe Armstrong, the beloved Green Day frontman, and convince people to join the church for their own greed, while taking his appearance by hopping inside a robot copy of his body (much like the Disney + Pixar movie Hoppers, which I took inspo from; It's one of my favs!). Fink is tired, but accepts the challenge, as he knows he will be executed if he fails the church he has lived by for years once more.

After being kidnapped by Fink and learning his plan, Billie, along with other people from the Green Day universe he meets along the way (such as Jesus Of Suburbia himself, Christian & Gloria, and their gang), sets out to stop Fink & the Church Of Lushotology's evil for good. Meanwhile, Mike & Tre investigate Billie's mysterious disappearance.
