Virgil Van Dijk has always been a very self assured man.

One whose confidence entered the room before he even stepped foot in it.

Its not that he necessarily thought lowly of everyone around him, he mostly wasnt fazed by the majority of his peers. Maybe it was a preventive meassure, something he did naturally to avoid future unwanted occurances. To the press and the outside world watching his life from afar, he seemed arrogant. The media called him untouchable, conceited - the Dutch defender was cocky and far too self-satisfied for his own good.

In all honesty - Virgil was simply hard to impress, his circle was carefully chosen throughout his life and remained small. Once he picks you, youre stuck with him.

Thats why he couldnt wrap his mind around the fact that he was so fazed by her.
